Independent Safe Ride is a Woman owned small business for the purpose of PUBLIC SAFETY and Independent transportation for those in need. 

I started this business due to an accident that happened in August of 1998. A 13-year-old boy was killed in front of his own home. This happened when someone left the bar in downtown Anoka, just 3 blocks from the bars.

SInce then i have driven for the bigger taxi companies. I chose to quit working for them and move to the northern suburbs where i believed i could make a difference.

So far in the last year-and -a-half i have made a difference. I have been through alot of scrutiny by the Police and the City of St. Francis but have managed to work through it and I am not going anywhere.

My main goal is to work towards ZERO DEATHS and/or ZERO IMPAIRED DRIVERS on our roads.
